DESCRIPTION

Located 34 km from Puno, at approximately 3,840 meters above sea level and near Lake Umayo in the district of Atuncolla, Sillustani is known for its chullpas: remarkable funerary towers built by different cultures and during different periods. The site reflects the sacred traditions of peoples who inhabited the Altiplano for thousands of years.
